Highlights from December 18, 2007 Board Meeting

The Board:

• Approved minutes from the November 30, 2007 and December 4, 2007 special meetings and the November 13, 2007 board workshop and regular meeting.
• Approved November 2007 accounts payable totaling $3,744,002.
• Approved $2,056 in write-off accounts.
• Approved Special Districts as the 2008 property and liability insurance carrier.
• Adopted the 2008 budget.
• Adopted Resolution 07-12-05 allowing the District to be reimbursed from bond funds for qualified expenditures made prior to the bond sale.
• Approved district reimbursement to the Employee Fund and sponsorship of an employee dinner.
• Approved a $500 sponsorship for the Oregon Dairy Princess Ambassador Program.
• Approved notice of intent to award the 2008 digger/derrick contract.
• Approved the Emergency Response Plan.
• Approved revisions to Policies 4-2 “Line Extension Policy: and 4-5 “Relocation or Modification of District Facilities.”
• Approved revisions to Personnel Policy 341 “Retirement.”
• Adopted Resolution 07-12-04 amending personnel policy guidelines for Policy 120 “Salary Program Administration.”
• Approved the memorandum of agreement with IBEW Local 125, amending article 7.2.b of the collective bargaining agreement.
• Approved amendment to Policy 2-10 “District Records.”
• Authorized the Chairman of the Board to sign the NRU Participant Agreement once agreement is finalized and all questions and concerns are addressed.
