Tillamook PUD Cautions Customers…Beware of Scams!

Tillamook PUD has received several reports today from local businesses and residents regarding scam activity taking place throughout our area.

In many instances, victims have described the scam situation to be over the phone from a person claiming to be a Tillamook PUD Credit Representative. The person demands money from victims, threatening to turn off their electrical service immediately if not paid.

Tillamook PUD would like to remind our customers and community members to be please be cautious and never give out your personal or financial information to anyone without knowing to whom you are speaking. If something doesn’t sound or feel right, it probably isn’t.
