Tillamook PUD 2024 Community Support Grants Awarded
Tillamook PUD is excited to announce the local organizations selected to receive funding through the Community Support Grant Program in 2024.
Upon an extensive review process by the Tillamook PUD Board of Directors, the following not-for-profit entities were awarded funds for their community projects this year:
- Cape Meares Community Association for strengthening Cape Meares emergency response- shelter and communications.
- Garibaldi Grade School Emergency Preparedness Team for emergency preparedness food security.
- Heart of Cartm for energy efficiency materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Hoffman Center for the Arts for exterior lighting improvements.
- Kiawanda Community Center for the construction of a storage shed.
- Manzanita Farmers Market for new electricity to the Farmers Market field.
- Nestucca High School Performing Arts for stage lighting upgrades.
- Netarts Community Club for a ductless heat pump at the community club.
- North County Recreation District for economic development emergency preparedness.
- North Tillamook Library Friends and South County Library Club for ADA-compliant doors at Tillamook Library branches.
- Oregon Coast Children’s Theatre-Oregon Coast Children’s Center for the Arts for the Fairview Grange kitchen and dining hall tiling project.
- Tillamook Children’s Advocacy Center of Tillamook County for child comfort items.
- Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity for interior walls on the Garibaldi house build.
- Tillamook County Outdoor School for communications upgrades.
- Tillamook County Pioneer Association for the Pioneer Fair building maintenance.
- Tillamook Education Foundation for East Elementary playground equipment.
- Tillamook Gun Club for a gate upgrade.
- Tillamook Swiss Society for a roof replacement.
- White Clover Grange for an electrical upgrade project at the Grange.
A total of 37 applications requesting a combined amount of over $261,000 in funding were received this year. With so many exceptional community projects and limited funds budgeted towards the program, the grant selection decision was very difficult for the Tillamook PUD Board of Directors.
Tillamook PUD is very pleased to support these outstanding organizations and looks forward to the positive impact each one of these important projects will have within the community.

The Tillamook PUD Community Support Grant Program was developed in 2003 to assist local not-for-profit organizations in funding projects that promote economic growth and enhance community livability in Tillamook County. The Board of Directors budgets funds for the program annually, the amount budgeted for the program in 2024 was $100,000.
