RFP - TPUD Surplus Equipment 2024

Tillamook People’s Utility District (TPUD) is seeking proposal(s) to remove surplus equipment from TPUD’s transformer yard facility. The equipment category are; overhead transformers; single phase voltage regulators; Large power transformers; Pad mount transformer; Hydraulic reclosers (4E & E); 115kV insulators; voltage regulator sequenced switches; substation disconnect switches; and hydraulic reclosers. Equipment voltage classes are 15kV, 23kV or 25kV. The proposer can submit offers on all or any one of the nine categories of equipment, but it shall include all equipment within the equipment category. The proposal shall include pick-up at TPUD’s transformer yard and all shipping and shall include any and all oil contained within the equipment. All equipment are tagged with low PBC, less than 50, 2, or 1 ppm to non-detectable. TPUD staff can help load equipment onto trucks. It is the proposer’s responsibility to secure equipment and move the equipment around within/on their trailer. Proposers can provide two prices; price per unit for disposal; and a price per unit for salvage/refurbishment along with any conditions for determining if the equipment can be refurbished. Proposers shall complete Exhibit A (workbook) by filling in the pricing for disposal and/or refurbishment (can include both prices) along with any conditions needed to determine if the equipment can be refurbished for each category of equipment. A negative value is the price TPUD is to pay Proposer, a positive value is price Proposer is to pay TPUD. Proposers shall upload the Signature Page and Exhibit A (completed) and can upload company information and a written proposal if desired.
