Cause: Transmission line down.

Customers Affected: 8,674 initially, 3,425 currently.

Status as of:

12:58 a.m.: Power restored to the area.

10:52 p.m.: Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler, Foss RD, and Nedonna Beach areas have been restored. Pacific Power is working to patrol remaining line sections and restore power to customers as it is safe to do so.

7:45 p.m.: Transmission line down, Pacific Power is working to make repairs and restore power to the area.

6:40 p.m.: A crew has responded to determine the cause.
