- We are open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Emergency/Outage service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at (503) 842–2122.
- Required Information (To Start or Transfer Electric Service)
- Please have your social security number (or Tax ID for business customers only,) date of birth, Driver’s License / ID, phone number, mailing address, and service address ready when you contact us to start or transfer service.
- Identity and Soft Credit Check
- For your protection, we must verify your identity before establishing an account. A soft credit check will be performed to confirm the identity of the new customer and determine if a deposit is necessary for the new account. The credit check will not impact your credit score.
- Deposits
- A deposit may be required to start your account. For residential customers, the deposit is $250. The commercial customer deposit will be equal to two (2) months’ annualized average billing (when necessary, two (2) months’ estimated annualized average billing may be used.)
- In lieu of a deposit, for residential accounts only, a customer with a current account and satisfactory credit may co-sign for the new service and guarantee payment.
- Security deposits may be refunded to the customer, with no interest paid, at termination of service or after twelve (12) consecutive months of service with no more than two (2) delinquent events.
