High School Work Program
Tillamook PUD has a history of support and partnership with county schools.
One program the PUD is proud of is the High School Work Program. Three high school seniors are hired each fall; one student works in the office, one in the mechanics’ shop and one in the warehouse. This program provides an opportunity for the students to learn a broad range of skills, while at the same time providing assistance to the PUD. Students work an average of 15 hours per week.
The High School Work Program typically accepts applications beginning in the spring for the following school year.
